How CloudMount protects your data

Information we collect

• When you sign up: your name, email address, company name, job title and billing information so we can set up your account and process payments.
• How you use CloudMount: which features you use, what content you analyse, and the compliance scores we generate.
• Technical details: your browser, IP address, device type and cookies, to keep the platform secure.
• Content you analyse: processed as securely as possible, usually in your browser. When processed in the cloud it is encrypted end-to-end and used only for compliance analysis.

How we use your information

• To run CloudMount: deliver AI regulation monitoring, generate compliance reports, and keep your account secure.
• To meet legal requirements under the EU AI Act, GDPR and requests from the Irish Data Protection Commission.
• To improve CloudMount by analysing usage patterns.
• To keep you informed with service updates and compliance alerts. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored on secure servers in Ireland and the EU with AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit. We use access controls, run regular security audits, and train our team on data protection.

Personal data is kept for as long as you use CloudMount, plus 7 years for compliance records. AI analysis data is kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can:

• View your personal data
• Ask us to fix or update it
• Request deletion
• Restrict how we use it
• Get a copy in a portable format
• Object to us processing it
• Withdraw your consent anytime

Third parties & transfers

We work with trusted providers for payments, hosting and analytics, each bound by a data protection agreement. Data is processed in Ireland and the EU; any transfer outside the EU uses Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

CloudMount is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
