Our History
Our name has nothing to do with cloud computing.
Past
A place, not a product
CloudMount began with a place rather than a product. The name comes from the old Dwyer family farm at Cloudmount, near Castlecomer, County Kilkenny — land shaped by hard work, local connection and a pride in doing things properly. Castlecomer Golf Club's tenth hole, a 367-metre par 4, is also called “Cloudmount”. The name belongs to the landscape, the townland and the community around it.
Present
AI governance, made practical
Today, CloudMount is a Kilkenny-based AI governance and compliance technology company. We help organisations understand, organise and demonstrate their obligations across AI governance, GDPR, digital accessibility, vendor risk and emerging European regulation — identify the risk, assign ownership, document the decision and build an evidence trail that stands up to scrutiny.
Community
Rooted at home
We sponsor Erin's Own GAA, Dicksboro GAA and Kilkenny GAA, alongside several local non-profits. Sport teaches lessons that transfer directly into business: preparation matters, good systems matter, and success comes from showing up consistently.
Future
Growing outward from Kilkenny
Our purpose is to give organisations the confidence to use technology responsibly, meet their obligations and keep moving forward. The name reminds us where that journey began: at Cloudmount, Castlecomer.
We find what regulators will find — before they do.
Partner with CloudMount and never worry about compliance again.
